Have a new M2 Mac Mini using a Apple Magic Mouse and Apple Keyboard, and a LG Widescreen 1440p monitor. When the display turns off I have to hard reset the computer because it will not wake from sleep from pressing keys or clicking the mouse. I've seen 'fixes' for the M1 about keeping the screen saver on all the time, but that's not a fix.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the tip, but still having the same issue. I have to manually click the Mac Mini power button to wake it up. Almost like the mouse and keyboard are disconnected while the screen is off.
Are the kb+mice Magic 2s or older models?
New models, got them both from Apple store this week.
How is the monitor connected?
HDMI (Monitor) to Thunderbolt (Mac)
