AppleCare

I'm planning to get a MacBook Pro + AppleCare with the annual option repeating. What happens when/if my SSD or other components fail 10 years down the road? Will they still be able to repair it or just give me something new that's comparable.

Thanks.

While Apple Care+ remains active, they should be able to repair it or replace it as required with a model and configuration as close to the original as possible.

Its unlikely Apple will allow the annual Apple Care to continue beyond the time when they can reasonably repair or replace it.

As per the terms of Apple Care, Apple can terminate it at any time. https://www.apple.com/legal/sales-support/applecare/applecareplus/2209/220907_applecareplusmac_us.pdf
