I keep needing to add full disk access to my applications

Hi!

I have had an issue since purchasing my MacBook in which I consistently have to give full disk access to my applications. This happened each and every day in when I need to jump into my security settings and give access to apps.

Although when I do give access to the apps it is already a ticked and what I have to do is untick and retick for the access to work. (Image below displays the tick in which I have to uncheck and recheck.)

It would be great to get some insight into what is going on a hopefully a fix as this has happened form day one.

I have a MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2021) which is always updated to the latest version.

Any help would be magical!

Thanks

Shaun

Hello shaungibson9,

If your disk access settings aren't saving, make sure you're clicking that lock icon at the bottom left after making your changes to save them.

If you have any sort of security or antivirus software on the computer, try disabling that to see if that may be affecting the Security & Privacy settings.

You'll also want to make sure you've covered the basics like restarting the device and making sure it's up to date.

Shut down or restart your Mac

If your disk access settings still aren't saving, you'll want to contact Apple for assistance: Get Support

Cheers!
