Hi, earlpoon,
Rather than a video, that describes only the very basic functions of iMovie, you might be better served by using Apple's online help menu. It covers almost all of the features of iMovie and provides a step by step description of how to use them. It also has a good search engine where you can search by topic or search word. Here's the link:

A good way to learn iMovie is to create a project and populate it with random photos and videos. Then experiment with the various features. Almost all of them are accessible from iMovie's main menu at the top of the screen, or the toolbar at the top right of the project screen, or by control-clicking on a clip to get a pop up menu of options.

Apple does not produce any iMovie video tutorials but there are lots of them on YouTube.
Assuming that you have one of the latest versions of iMovie, make sure that any tutorials you watch are no more than 2 years old otherwise the information may not be completely relevant.
YouTube tutorials can vary greatly in quality but if you check out some of those in the link you should find one that suits your needs.

It also helps if you can download the tutorial as it will be necessary to frequently stop and replay bits that may be difficult to understand on a first viewing.
