Organize Music Library

What does the Music App do when you slect "Organize Library" from the file menu?

I think it may help some issues I have (things in odd places, nothing critical) but I'd hate for it to cause more problems as I have a LOT of original unreleased music in there.

Adding Second Music Library Carries Over Songs From Original Library Greetings: I wanted to have a separate Music library on MacOS to keep music from my DJ library separate. While I am able to create a new music library via Option-open, for some reason in the Playlists portion of the sidebar, the "Recently Added," "Artists" and "Songs" sections have tunes from my previous library's nd I do not want them there. I'm unsure if deleting them from the new library will affect the original songs in the original library. I could use some guidance on resolving this. I'd like to only see the new songs that I populate in the new library. Thanks!

Delete entire Apple Music library? Is it possible to delete your entire Apple Music library? I just switched back to iOS and my library is cluttered with a ton of music from years ago. Now I stream everything and so I’d like to start with a clean slate. To be clear, I’m not asking to delete downloaded music — I want to remove everything from the library so I don’t have to do it one by one.

The consolidate files option brings in copies of any files outside the media folder into the media folder. The rearrange files option adds in an extra Music subfolder in between the media folder and the artist folders. See Managing your Mac media libraries - Apple Community for general advice.
