How to remove the 16.3.1 update from my iPhone?

After using 16.3.1 for a few days it seems to be an update for the sake of change but not improvement. Unnecessary user interface changes and suddenly malfunctioning apps - the result of Apple fixing something that wasn’t broken.

iOS 16.3.1 is not especially different than iOS 16.3. I believe it was mostly security and bug fixes. There were no major updates.

What apps are not functioning properly? Are these built-in apps? Or third-party apps? If the latter, try deleting and re-installing them. If the former, more information would be helpful.

Even if it were possible (it is not), it would be a bad idea.

You can't. So, what exactly is the issue here? Why do you want to downgrade?
