Saving a Long Message and Many Messages:

Sync messages to a Mac, then export as a PDF document:

Three Steps:

I. Set up iPhone to get SMS messages on Mac - Apple Support

then...

II. Use "Export as PDF..."

1. Go to: the File menu
2. Select: Export as PDF...
3. Enter: a name for the PDF document
4. Select: a location for the PDF document
5. Click: Save button

Then...

III. Use the "Print" Menu

1. Go to: File menu
2. Select: Print
3. Click: the PDF dropdown menu (bottom)
4. Select: Save as PDF
5. Enter: a name for the PDF document
6. Select: a location(etc.) for the PDF document
7. Click: Save button
