How to see the file path from INSIDE a Pages document (MacOS)

I'm in the process of cleaning my files created over the last 15 years and saved in all sorts of project folders that all made organizational sense at the time.

When I search with Spotlight and find an old file I want and open it. I need to see what folder it's located in so I can see all related files. But from within the Pages doc, I can't find how to do that. The save-as wants to put it in Documents, but that's not where it is now. I cmd-click (as somebody suggested here in an old post) the file name, and it does nothing. The Move command doesn't tell me either.

What's the trick?

When you search for Pages documents using Spotlight 🔍 from the macOS menu extras bar, you can arrow down in the found documents, hold the command-key to reveal the document location, or use the space bar to perform an in-place Quick Look of the document contents. Press command+R to open a Finder window with that document selected, or just return to open it.

The following will find Pages documents created (at this post date) in the date range:

kind:pages created:01/01/2022-02/22/2023

Pages itself will show you a document location by clicking on the open document's name in the title bar. The Where selector will bear the name of the current folder, and by clicking and holding that Where selector, you can see a reverse list of folders leading to the document.

Viking, Thank you for the detailed explanation. I'll try all those things.

I did try everything possible in the Pages title bar and Where selector. No matter what I did it showed offered the ~/Documents folder. The actual file location was much deeper in a different path. (I'm still on Monterey, if that makes a difference.)

On Monterey 12.6.3 and Pages v12.2.1, I can open any random Pages document including those four levels deep within the Documents folder and their folder hierarchy appears in the Where selector when I click and hold on it.
