Google Drive Authentication probkem

There was a chat a while back about how to get the Google Drive to open inside another app and not bring up an authentication issue. I do not have the privacy screen activated in Google drive, but when I try to open a file it continues to show a status wheel saying LOADING and will not open the drive with my files. i am grading papers digitally and needing to upload into a schools student portal.
