Slow ethernet speed mac M1

Hello,

I have issue with ethernet speed on my macbook pro M1.

Its connected through usb-c dock station.

I should be getting around 100mbit

When i do speedtest on windows pc its around 90-100

When I do the same test on my macbook pro, speeds are 15-25mbit.

Can someone help me troubleshoot this?

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 13.2

Which dock exactly?

With the dock and ethernet cable connected, go to System Settings->Network, select Ethernet and tell us or show us what you see there - under Hardware, TCP/IP, DNS and Proxies.

The settings look normal.

The only thing unusual is the DNS. You have an address starting with 193 as your main DNS server, then Google’s 8.8.8.8 and finally your router.

I suggest you make a note of these addresses, and then clear this pane by selecting each and pressing “-“.

When all are deleted, you should just see the address that is set automatically by your router (in grey).

See how it works then.
