Personal Hotspot shows connected, but no internet activity.

I have an iPhone 14 pro max on iOS 16.3.1 and MacBookPro 16" on OS 13.2.1 that will not allow me to connect my personal hotspot. I have tried resetting carrier settings, rebooting both, as well as connecting via bluetooth and USB. Nothing is working, yet everything is fully updated.

Old issues, new issue, what changed?



Have you shut down and rebooted both devices...?


Have you queried your Cellular service provider?


WiFi Has to be ON both devices for personal Hotpot to connect; verify iPhone settings Hotspot is on.
