Apple Watch connecting to wrong Apple account

I am trying to pair my Apple Watch with my iPhone but it continues to detect my old Apple ID instead of the Apple ID on my phone. I tried erasing my watch and anything I can find with my old work email on my phone but haven’t had any luck. Hoping someone can help!

Apple Watch and wrong Apple ID I bought a new iphone and when I tried to connect my watch, it keeps trying to connect to an Apple ID that is not mine. I logged out of my ID ( on the phone) and then logged back in. But it stills keeps asking for the password for the incorrect ID. I reset the watch and attempted to connect to the new phone again but the same thing keeps happening. Does anyone know how to fix this ?

How can I reset an Apple ID account on my Apple Watch I can no longer access I had an Apple ID that I used on my Apple watch when I bought it. After years, I bought a new iPhone and also changed my Apple ID without bothering to have my Apple watch and new iPhone synchronized. But now I am trying to synchronize them I have record of what was my old Apple account was, both account ID and password. I still want to use my Apple watch and I'd really appreciate if Apple can help me sync my Apple watch to my iPhone.

If you still remember the password for your old Apple ID (you don't need the actual email access) then sign onto https://icloud.com/find and remove the Watch from the device list.
