dell monitor macbook air - no signal

I have a Dell Monitor S2421HS, and I am trying to connect to the MacBook Air (M2, 2022 - mac OS Monterey, 12.5.1). No HDMI signal

My MacBook Air recognizes the monitor, but the monitor says, 'No HDMI signal from your device.'. The input source is set to HDMI.

Connecting Dell monitor to Mackbook Pro good morning, I have a macbook pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports). I'm trying to connect a Dell Monitor P2419HC to the MBP using a USB-C cable but the screen doesn't detect the signal from the MBP. I started by trying an HDMI cable with an adapter but that didn't work. then got the USB-C cable but still doesn't work. I've tried restarting but nothing works.What else can I do? thanks

Macbook Air M2 won't connect to Dell U2421E monitor I have a new MacBook Air M2 and it will not connect to a Dell Dell U2421E monitor. I have all the connectors supplied from Dell and also a USBC adapater. Nothing will work? I have tested the same leads and connactors on an older MacBook Pro (2019) and the Monitor works fine. It is the brand new MacBook Air M2. I chose to buy the Dell monitor after reading reviews of the best monitor to use with the new Mac. Any suggestions would be great, or if I need ot send the monitor back and buy something compatible.

I already updated the software to Ventura 13.2.1, and the problem continues.

I also try with another computer, and the monitor works well with Windows.
