Why can’t I find pending updates on the App Store

Hi,
When you open the App Store app, click on your picture/avatar in the upper right hand corner. Afterwards, you will need to swipe down from the top to refresh the page, and once refreshed, scrolling to the bottom will show you your pending app updates, if any.
