How can I connect external Bluetooth speakers to Mac mini

you can open BT settings and turn on "discoverable". then turn on pairing mode on the device. then once the device appears in the "my devices" list, click the "connect" button next to the device's name.
and if you are using Monterey or a prior macOS, the interfaces will look a bit different, but the steps are the same.
