I've been trying to set up a new and faster SSD for my old Macbook Pro 2012 but for more than 24 hrsit has only progress 10% on internet recovery with Mountain Lion.
I've tried to find the OS file for the USB boot. But I wasn't able to find it on you official web-site.
What would you suggest me to do?

Internet Recovery always depends on your network bandwidth to connect to the Apple Servers.
Most often using ethernet/LAN is preferred.
Alternate is to download the OS X Mountain Lion for preparing usb bootable.
