In MacOS Ventura, how do I copy my backups from a old, smaller external drive to a new, larger external drive.

In MacOS Ventura, how do I copy my backups from a old, smaller external drive to a new, larger external drive?

All the help I have found online does not seem to work with MacOS Ventura.

Mac mini, macOS 13.2

I don't think it is possible, anymore.

If the backup drive has a Backups.backupd folder, then it is the old HFS+ format. It was possible to copy that to another drive.

The new APFS format backup drive cannot be copied.

The article on how to copy the old HFS+ format drives was removed, so I don't know if it is still possible to copy them.
