How can I stop my apple watch 8 from serving a haptic and sound notification for OS updates? I wear the watch to track my sleep and the OS update notification wakes me up at 4:20AM every time there is an update to be loaded! This makes no sense. I have blocked all notifications during this period but can't find a way to block or move the notification time for an OS update to a time of day of my choosing.
In My Watch settings, General, Software update, Automatic Updates, Off.
This only happens once every month or three anyway.
@LD150, regardless, it wakes me up unnecessarily, well before my alarm. And, the watch is in sleep/do not disturb. I’m not going to deal with the OS till I get up, it can wait a couple more hours till 6 or 7 am.
However, thank you for the tip. I am grateful for the future uninterrupted sleep. :)
@Apple, consider making this setting adjustable (on/off or set a time to notify), or be silent when do not disturb is turned on.
You could also schedule a Do Not Disturb focus overnight
