No app split screen yet even in ios16?

Come on Apple this is getting sad. I switched to the iPhone 10 years ago from a basic Samsung a10 or something. The a10 had dual app capabilities like all Samsung phones, i.e you could have YouTube playing and gps going on the same screen. I’ve had an iPhone 10, 11 and now I rock an iPhone 13 Pro Max and this is just sad. This is a very beneficial feature and apple still has not introduced it. This feature alone constantly makes me want to revert back to Samsung, c’mon apple why can’t you introduce dual app functionality on the iPhone?
