m2pro macbook pro 14 inch battery drain and overheating

Hi There,

I am just wondering if this issue is for me or wanted to know if any one else have the same,

My brand new m2pro macbook pro 14 inch suffering a huge significant battery drain,

I use only apple native apps for my productivity work,

I was using iMovie for editing videos shot on my iPhone typically 500mb-1gb files. the scenario I have is I am at 85% of battery off charger started working on iMovie for 10 mins of simple video edit of adding transitions and sound...exporting the file in 1080p..so overall 17 mins work the battery dropped to 74% which is 11% drop in battery usage...Also the bottom of Mac was getting so hot to point can't place on my lap and weird part is the fans didn't even started to Spin......

then I have put my Mac to sleep and next day started to repeat the same sensation at 71% to start this time its even worse the battery dropped to 59% for 15 mins work...later exporting taskthe file of a size 1.46 gb further drained to 34% in 3 mins and with no fans on and temperatures to 109 degrees.....

the Mac is just 5 days old and I know I can swap the laptop with in the return window. But I am curios to know if mine a defective one or any one else have the same issue....
