Change color or icon for a location in a apple map guide?

Created a guide in my apple maps showing all my state’s wineries. The icon is already set as a pinkish grapes icon when I looked up the winery and added it to the guide. I’d like to visually see a difference between ones I have vs. haven’t visited. Is there a way to change the color of the icon apple is showing for the winery, modify or icon type, etc? Thank you for any help or suggestions.

Hi VAtunes,

Apple offers info on editing and creating guides here: Organize places in My Guides in Maps on iPhone

Additionally options to edit a guide are here:

"Edit a guide that you created

For any guide that you create, you can supply a cover image, change the title, and remove places.

  1. Tap your picture or initials at the top right of the search card, then tap Guides.
  2. If neither your picture nor initials appears, tap Cancel next to the search field, or tap the search field, then tap Cancel.
  3. Choose a guide that you created.
  4. Tap Edit at the bottom of the guide card.
  5. Make your changes, then tap the Close button at the top right of the guide card."

If you don't see the edit you'd like to make or a preference for essentially checking off a winery, we'd recommend leaving feedback on the feature below:
