Others are hearing crackling when I use my AirPods on phone calls

Others are hearing crackling when I speak to them using my AirPods Pro. Microphone problem? Is there anything i can do to fix this?

Hi and thank you - BUT there is no "microphone" when I tap the info icon. Just:

Connect to this iPhone - Automatically / When last connected to this iPhone

Show in Find My

ABOUT (model name, number, serial number, verison)

Coverage expired

Forget this device

Any other ideas?

Hello,

Try this:

Open the Settings app and go to the Bluetooth section. Next to the AirPods entry on the list of devices, you should see an “i” icon inside of a circle. Tap this, then select microphone, and set it to either left, right or automatic. Try switching it back and forth.

Then, test with the Voice Memos app.
