Hi, I recently purchased a new ipad air 5, and I just discovered that my time lapse lags horribly (every time i tried to time lapse using front cam, haven't tried using the back cam tho) but yeah still wondering how to fix this? i tried using the AE/AF lock but it still lags the same way it does without the AE/AF lock? do i have to walk in to my nearest Apple store to send for a check or it's just a bug that will fade away by itself?

Try a forced-restart of your iPad - as this will often clear an isolated software issue:
Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)
If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:
Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)
Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
