Apple Watch apps not working

Does anyone know why all of Apple’s updates have been screwing up our devices recently? The more they push out, the worse my devices perform. I think I’m going to refuse to update from now on. If anyone has had this problem, how have you resolved it? I have found that contacting Apple is more trouble than it’s worth as they never actually fix the problem. I am looking for a real solution. Half the features of my watch no longer work and the only thing I can pin that to is the updates because they all used to work just fine and I personally haven’t done anything to change any settings. Only the updates have changed them. I am stumped and wish someone knew how to prevent this problem as I’m considering going to Samsung because the problem is so frustrating.
