Typing in Numbers

that is normal it is the way how it is shown in a formula, there is nothing you can do.

You will get something similar when you type * in your formula, then you will get x.

It looks like + (plus sign) but it is not . It is ÷ (division sign).

Difficult to tell with small text size in the formula editor.
