Why is my walking steadiness no longer registering steps.

Suddenly in December my Walking Steadiness app stopped registering. Shows nothing. Worked fine before December when I got a new I phone 12. Everything transferred ok and Shows record up to December. Tried everything

iPhone 12, iOS 16

Hello Johnss24,

We would like to see how we can help you with your walking steadiness not working as expected. Let's start by making sure your settings are correct by following the steps in this link: Measure your walking steadiness with your iPhone - Apple Support

"Set up Walking Steadiness

  1. On your iPhone, open the Health app, then tap Summary.
  2. Scroll to Walking Steadiness Notifications, then tap Set Up.
  3. Follow the onscreen prompts to confirm your Health Details, learn about Walking Steadiness Levels, and turn on notifications.
  4. Tap Done.

Put your iPhone in your front pocket or in a pocket near your waist while walking. You'll receive a notification if your steadiness level is low enough to put you at risk for a fall within the next year."

If everything appears to be correct, reach out to Apple directly at: Get Support - Apple

Cheers!
