There are a couple of reasons why Private Relay may not work. Not all networks and websites support Private Relay, and there are also factors such as a VPN or other security software that could interfere. Take a look at the following guide to start narrowing this down: About iCloud Private Relay - Apple Support

If that guide doesn't help, let us know more:

• Since updates recently released, which software version shows in Settings > General > About?
• What's happening with Private Relay exactly? Is it not working with certain websites, a particular network, or something else?
