how do I reset or pair a aluminum remote?
I lost the orginal and bought a replacement on line-- it wont pair or operate the apple tV- it makes the light blink- but nothing happens-- i think i need to pair it but dont know how??

The old style aluminum remote is intended for the older models (2013 or earlier).
The new style Siri Remote (2nd or 3rd generation) work with Apple TV (4th generation or later), not earlier models.
