Apple TV HomeKit stuck at ‘syncing to icloud’

Have just setup a new 1st gen Apple TV 4K in an existing home with a pre existing Apple TV and home pod.

The new Apple TV won’t connect to HomeKit. It finds the home but selecting the room it just gets stuck at ‘syncing to iCloud’?

I’ve reset but can’t get past this?

Apple TV can't join HomeKit. Stuck at "Syncing to iCloud" I just upgraded TVos to 16.5 on my ATV 4 HD. Now it won’t connect to HomeKit. It finds the home but selecting the room it just gets stuck at ‘syncing to iCloud’? I’ve logged out and back into iCloud. Unplugged and replugged the power. It says the syncing could take a while but it's been over 24 hours. Any suggestions besides resetting to factory defaults and starting over. I don't want to lose all the automations I have set up.

Apple TV 4K 2021 as a HomeKit Hub. Once again, but all in vain, I try to add appleTV 4k 2021 (model: A2169 64Gb) to the "homekit" run as a "home hub". AppleID (favorite) and WiFi the same. Keychein and dual verification is enabled. iCloud+ is subscribed. In the apple support for a long time understood, and informed me that I have an outdated device, although now it is the previous generation, and it has protokol "Threads". Moreover, there is a lot of material on the Internet about the use of more older devices as a "home hub". Maybe I'm dealing with a factory defect?

HomeKit not working once I add my Apple TV I recently purchased an AppleTV 4k (Model A2169) to act as a home hub since the iPad I own would no longer be supported as a hub after ios16. However, the moment I add the Apple TV to my home, all of my lights in homekit become unresponsive. I literally just finished setting up my home again, resetting the hue hub and everything inside HomeKit worked perfectly until the moment I added the Apple TV. I have tried all the tips I could find to fix this and I cannot figure out what the issue is. Here's a summary of what I tried: -Deleted home and set up new home -Reset the Apple TV completely and update it -Reset the Hue Hub -Unlinked the hue hub and linked it again to the homekit app (after this I ended up with the lights showing up twice in homekit) -Signed in and out on Apple TV and added to the home again (made lights unresponsive) If someone has any suggestions I would be more than happy and grateful to hear them. I am at my wit's end at this point and considering returning this stupid device since it's not doing the one thing I need it to do.

It can sometimes get stuck being slow on this. You can otherwise start using the ATV while it completes.
