Focus, I never turned it on and yet it is on. How do I get rid of it? It seems to always be on. When I am at work, my phone will not ring and I do not need this program on my phone.

You cannot get rid of it. It's a built in feature of the iPhone.
You can turn if off from the Control Center, by tapping on the Focus icon and then on whichever Focus is turned on there.
You can also delete all Focus types from the Focus section in the Settings App except for "Do Not Disturb".
