My iphone 11 was stolen and the thief might have my passcode. How can I lock him out?

My iphone was stolen and it's possible the thief has my passcode. It's been more than 24 hrs since it pinged on FindMy. I marked it as lost and set it to be erased. Can he get into my phone if it's been marked as lost?

This document has a list of things to do if your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen. --> If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple Support

From: Use the Find My app to locate a missing device or item - Apple Support

"What happens if you activate Mark As Lost

Mark as Lost remotely locks your missing iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac with a passcode, keeping your information secure even if your device goes missing. You can also display a custom message with your phone number on the Lock screen, and keep track of your device's location.
