I had this problem before and i took it to the apple store and he used a hack to reboot my phone. currrently my phone is unresponsive to my touch. does anyone know the trick?

Hack? If you took this phone to an Apple Store, and the Genius Bar folks resolved this issue earlier, they should have also provided you with what the issue was and how they resolved it. Was that not the case?
