How do I change my AirPlay screen saver settings/

When I stream Apple Music to my TV, after about 5 minutes, the album cover is replaced with a black screen and bouncing "AirPlay." How do I turn this off or change the time before it starts? I cannot find the settings. I found a few solutions suggesting that it be changed in Apple TV settings, but I do not see this anywhere. Thank you for any help.

Hey there Rmandree,

Upon researching your question, we were able to find the steps that explain how to adjust the screen saver for your Apple TV under the section 'Adjust screen saver settings' here: Use Apple TV screen savers While we don't believe this will change what you're seeing when leaving the AirPlay idle for five minutes between your two devices, we wanted to make sure you had the steps to check.

With the above details in mind, we also wanted to provide a second link to submit any product feedback you'd like for Apple to consider: Product Feedback

Cheers!

Thank you for responding, but I have found this solution--the issue being is that I do not technically have an Apple TV device; therefore, I have no way to access Apple TV settings as these instructions mention. I have a smart tv compatible with AirPlay. I assumed that these settings would be accessible on my iPhone or MacBook, but they are not. This seems like such a simple setting that should not require me to have to seek assistance--especially given that I am relatively tech savvy. All I want to do is turn this off. I like having the album cover displayed when the music is playing. Why is it so difficult to disable or increase the length of time before it turns on? Also, why would I not be able to have it scroll through photos rather than what is currently selected? How does one access TV os settings without an Apple TV device? If it is possible through the iPhone, where do I find it? Since you stated that you didn't think this would solve my problem, does this mean there is currently no way to change these settings?
