Recents folder empty

I just got my new MacBook Pro and My Recent folder is NOT showing any of my recently worked on documents. How do I fix this? Also some of my apps like Dragon dictation app are not opening.

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 13.2

Hello britta_s240,

Thanks for checking. Have you tried opening apps in safe mode? Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support

After safe mode, restart and try opening some apps, see if the apps that didn't open before open now, and if the Recents folder shows usage.
