inserting apostrophes to plurals incorrectly

It sounds like you are having issues with auto-correction on your iPhone SE, and we'd like to help. Are these apostrophes being added in a specific app, or in all apps?

There was an update to iOS today, February 13, so one of the first things we would recommend is to backup and update your iPhone to iOS 16.3.1.

Next, we suggest turning off Auto-Correction and Smart Punctuation in Settings > General > Keyboard and test.

I tried all of the suggestions and none of them fixed the problem. It is still inserting apostrophes for plurals incorrectly.
