Homepod mini tells temp from one room, not other

I wanted an intercom system for my house but wanted one that could do

other stuff, play music etc. Homepods are working wonderfully. I can

intercom whatever room or everyone in the apple "home" and since the new

update came out I can find out what the temp/humidity is in another

room or the garage. Mostly.

From the Guest Room (that's what the homepod is called) "Hey Siri, what's the temperature in the kitchen"

"The temperature in the kitchen is 71 degrees fahrenheit"

Every homepod I ask for give a specific answer for temp or humidity (it'll only answer for the first one asked)

However, if I'm in the kitchen

"Hey Siri, what's the temperature in the garage?"

"The temperature in the garage is 54 degrees fahrenheit."

"Hey Siri, what's the temperature in the guest room?"

"The temperature ranges from 54 degrees to 71 degrees fahrenheit in the garage, upstairs and the kitchen."

I see the guest room in the home app. I can play music when in the guest room. I can

ask for the temperature in the kitchen when in the guest room.

If I ask in the guest room, I can get each temp for each homepod

If I ask in the kitchen, I cannot get the guest room's temp, only a

range from all the other homepods without mention of the guest room.

"Hey Siri play classic rock everywhere" plays on all homepods no matter where I say it.

"Hey Siri play classic rock in guest room" from kitchen plays classic rock in guest room

"Hey Siri intercom guest room dinner's ready" from the kitchen works. Guest room gets notified dinner is ready.

It's only temp and humidity that do not get an answer.

Help?

Hi DanielGMac,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand you have some questions about checking the temperature with your HomePod. We're happy to help. HomePod mini and HomePod (2nd generation) have a temperature and humidity sensor, so you can ask about the temperature and humidity in the rooms where they’re placed. Do you have a compatible device in the guest room as well?

See more about that here: Check the temperature and humidity of a room - Apple Support

Thanks.

I have done software testing for 20 years. If you actually read what I wrote, I answered that question and most of the ones I could think might be asked already. I'm well aware they have temp and humidity sensors in them. That's exactly what I'm asking about.

I have homepod minis in:

kitchen

office

guest room

garage

upstairs

All of them are updated to 6.3.1

I can get temp and humidity in each of the rooms if I'm in the room and ask.

I can get the temp and humidity in the kitchen, garage, and upstairs individually no matter what room I'm in when I ask.

I only get "the temp varies from XX in the kitchen, XX upstairs, and XX in the garage" if I ask what the temp is in the guest room from the kitchen, upstairs or garage.

If I ask what the temp in the guest room is from the office, I get "the temp in the guest room is XX degrees fahrenheit"

Is that complete enough or do you still have questions?

Please, please, PLEASE actually read my posting as to my actual question and if you can offer a fix for it, I would love it.
