Wacom Pen not working, macOS Ventura 13.1 error message: "security settings prevented the wacom software from posting an event" - How to fix?

Getting this message when trying to uuse the pen?

From Wacom tech support:

1- Go to system preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Input monitoring. Move the window to a side as you will need it later.

2- Open Finder > Applications > Wacom Tablet. Within that folder press the key combination: Command(CMD) + Shift + . (dot)

3- The above key combination will allow you to see the hidden folder and the .Tablet folder will appear. Open that folder.

4- Now drag and drop the WacomTouchDriver from this folder on to the list under Input Monitoring in the Security & Privacy section.

5- Make sure the Wacom components are enabled (Checked) and close the lock at the bottom of the window to save the changes.

6- Restart your computer and test the tablet again

That didn't work, but the next suggestion was to delete the InputMonitoring AND Accessibility sys prefs, then manually drag them back into the Sys Settings

The com.wacom.IOManager file is in /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools . . .

This got the pen working again, but the Touch function is not (tho the OS still recognizes toggling the hardware switch on the tablet... next attempt is turning off the Touch driver (as the touch feature worked without it originally)
