Safari Links

Whenever I click a link on Safari, the link randomly turns into a rounded rectangle and a png of it basically just jumps to the upper left corner of my screen on Safari, where the button where you can access reading lists and bookmarks is. I end up having to retype in the website i was on to be able to click the link, and reloading doesn’t work. It’s really annoying, how can I get rid of it?

If i can screen record this later, I will send it.

Hello kale________,

We have a great support article that might help with this. Please take a look at it here: Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. These steps might help to prevent that from happening.

In addition, as with all unexpected iPad behavior, try taking the following steps which may help with this: restart your iPad, make sure it is up to date, close the Safari app, then reopen it and make sure all apps are updated.

We hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist with anything else at all. Take care.
