Finder Widgets
How do I add widgets in finder window?
iMac 27″, macOS 10.12
Oh, the toolbar, no way other than the App having a preference file that allows putting the icon in the Toolbar, or sometimes running the App... or restarting as you found.

For the most part you can't.but...
Thank you! Somehow on my desktop I lost my Box widget. But I restarted it and it came back! But just for future reference is there a way to add these things manually?
