There isn't a way to export the text messages into another file to be saved, while there may be apps in the App Store that provide this service, you would want to investigate which, if any, would work for you.
Depending on how many messages you are wanting to copy, you may consider a screenshot of the conversation. You could then use Pages, or the program you use to import the screenshots.
