iOS Mail App Does Not Wrap Text?!

Hi Apple!

When responding to emails on the Mail App (iPhone), the typed text continues way further than the width of the screen, which results in me having to scroll horizontally to re-read what I've typed. No other app (gmail, outlook, etc.) has the same issue. It's extremely frustrating. I've had the same problem on different software versions and various iPhone models.

I've Googled for a solution, and I can see complaints about the same thing dating back to 2016 that have still not been addressed by Apple software engineers... PLEASSSEEEEE can you do something about this?! So many people have the same complaint.

Any feedback/solution would be greatly appreciated!

Is this your corporate iPhone? Do you have any profile installed by your corporate / organisation/enterprise / School Management then please contact the system administrator of your corporate / organisation/enterprise / School Management.

If you have installed any profile on your own --> Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone - Apple ...

If you want to turn on SSL trust for that certificate, go to Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings. Under "Enable full trust for root certificates," turn on trust for the certificate. Apple recommends deploying certificates via Apple Configurator or Mobile Device Management (MDM).

Trust manually installed certificate profiles in iOS and iPadOS ...

I do not have any such issues on my device iPhone 12 Pro iOS 16.3..

I had the issue of mail not wrapping way back in 2008 on iPhone 3GS since then I have had iPhone 4S, SE (1st Gen), 6, 8, iPad Pro, etc, and have never encountered this in any of the email accounts that I use Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo

Thanks for the response.

That's weird though. I'm running iOS 16.3 on an iPhone 11. I've checked all the settings, have checked and unchecked quote indentation as suggested in some threads and nothing works. In my Google search, everyone had the same issue with various models of iPhone and iOS. You must be a lucky outlier!
