Problem with HDR, Keyer, & Cropping

I am keying a clip shot on an iPhone. I am using the applying the HDR effect to work around the known issue of iPhone Video looking "blown out" unless you convert it. However, after applying the keyer to remove my green screen, there is a very strange issue. I can shuttle around the timeline and the object looks fine. However, once I hit playback, suddenly the bottom and right half is cropped off (leaving a 4th of the object displaying and everything else gone). The only effects are HDR Tools and Keyer. If I turn off HDR Tools, it no longer crops, though of course then the clip is unusable do to the blown out image.

I realize I can just do a pass with HDR Tools first, export, and then use the keyer, but that is a bit painful (as I would have to d that on multiple clips. Looks like there is a small Reddit thread on this same issue from about 4 months ago, but no one had a solution. this issue since May of 2022. I'm curious why this is happening. Is this a problem in HDR Tools?
