If the app does not appear in the Location Services list then the option to prevent it from using your location may be in the settings of the app itself. Does this app have its own settings? If YES, then see whether the option is there. If NOT, then there may not be another way of using that app. You can also check for options in the app developer’s web page. You always have the option to delete the app and not use it.
