Final Cut Pro wont open

My Final Cut Pro won't open and even if it does, it automatically crashes.

At first I thougth it was a one device problem but it doesn't work at all in any devices.

My Mac specs are: iMac Late 2013, 3.2Ghz i5, 16GB RAM

Until last week the apps worked perfectly, it seems its a general problem, please help us.

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

What devices are you talking about exactly?

What OS is this, what FCP version? Whenever the application crashes you should reset the preferences. Hold ⌥ ⌘ as you double click the library you want to open to launch the application. A dialog appears asking you if you want to Delete Preferences. If you don't do this while double-clicking your library, the application will open a default Untitled  library.

All my company devices, at least all my iMac 2013, i think the version is 5.4, it doesnt even open to know which version is.

i have iMac 2017 and Mac Studio and Final Cut works perfectly, high capable devices but we were working perfectly on our imacs even yesterday, it seems its a general problem with App Store apps, because even Motion doesnt open, all my Adobe apps are working perfectly.

Please give exact information. I'm trying to make sense of this. but what's 5.4? Do you mean FCP 10.5.4? You can look in the Applications folder and see what version the application is. What OS are you using? The current OS will not run FCP 10.5.4. The 2013 iMac is not using the current OS. What version is it using?

Have you trashed your preferences? Hold Opt-Cmd as you launch the application.

Did you trash your preferences as you tried to launch the application?

That is a spread of systems and applications, so the problem is likely that is common to your systems, rather than an OS or the application. Try creating a new admin user on each machine and opening the application (not an existing library) from there.

Post an EtreCheck reports https://etrecheck.com giving the application Full Disk Access in Privacy System Preferences. Copy the report and use the Add Text button to paste the result into reply box. Post one for a 2013 machine and one for the 2017.
