Internet recover fails with -2003F

My MacBook Pro is not booting and when it tries to do the Internet Recovery it fails with the message support.apple.com/mac/startup -2003F what does this mean?

To perform the steps in the article we suggested above, click and open the link, read the subheadings below, and try the steps that is most applicable to what you're seeing on your end as it pertains to your computer not booting.


1) Circle with a line through it

2) Question mark

3) Options with a gear icon

4) Blank (empty) screen

5) Apple logo

6) Globe with warning symbol

7) Lock icon

8) System lock PIN code

9) Login window


We recommend the steps above because they will show you what to do if your Mac doesn't start up all the way.
