iPhone 14 pro - voice isolation issue with AirPods pro 2

dear all,

when using non-Apple voice app (Google meet, Microsoft Teams, Line, Skype...), enabling voice isolation, using "AirPods pro 2, iPhone 14 pro max with iOS 16.3 ", my friends say the my voice sounds choppy...

the only fix is to change "voice isolation" to "standard", but people will also hear the background noise. Do you have the similar experience in how to fix ?

Seems the issue is related to my iPhone 14 pro max, with iOS 16.3?

Here's my observation:

1) non-Apple voice apps, AirPods pro 2, iPhone 14 pro max: bad, when in "voice isolation"

2) non-Apple voice apps, speaker mode, iPhone 14 pro max: ok

3) non-Apple voice app, AirPods pro2, Macbook: ok

4) non-Apple voice app, speaker mode, Macbook: ok

5) Facetime, AirPods pro 2, iPhone 14 pro max: ok...

Hi,

same issue here: voice isolation works just fine with iPhone 12 and previously with iPhone 13 pro in combination with AirPods pro 1. In combination with newly acquired iPhone 14 pro, sound is choppy and the counterpart can't really understand what I am saying until I turn it off.

This only happens on iPhone 14 Pro with same AirPods, easily reproducible.

Hi Lee_ms,

the authorized dealer checked the AirPods pro 2, and paired with another iPhones XR, they function normally. They suspect the issue is on my iPhone 14 pro max, i restore/reinstall iOS 16.3.1 but cannot resolve the issue.

have you also heard that, this issue is only on iPhone 14 Pro ... ?
