Hello Muggermagger,

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. When you saw you no longer have your inbox, are you referring to Mail, or Messages?

If using mail, there are a few steps we can take to ensure you can get your email.

1. If using iCloud mail, make suer you're signed in by going to Settings > Tap your account > Tap iCloud > Ensure iCloud mail is on. More info on that here: Send and receive iCloud Mail on all your devices and keep Mail settings up to date - Apple Support
2. If using another account to access your mail, try following these steps to ensure you are signed in and can receive mail. - Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
