Family Sharing & iCloud

My son got his first phone today and I’m helping him get it all set up. If I turn on iCloud+ in family sharing, will my son have access to everything on MY iCloud or is it a separate iCloud for him? I have the 200gb plan.

He can share your storage plan but each or your storage is under your own Apple ID and is private. See information in Share iCloud+ with your family - Apple Support including the following:

When you share an iCloud+ subscription, everyone in the family group uses their own account. That way your photos, documents, and other information stay private, even though you're sharing access to the service. You simply share the features and space available in iCloud+ with your family members, so you only have one plan to manage.
