Iphone 14 Pro Max missing photos in text messages

My iphone 14 pro max stopped showing pictures in text messages. Recent text messages are working fine. On or about December 26 pictures disappeared. I really want those pictures back.

Check with your cellular carrier; if these are MMS messages, some carriers may only retain the attachments for a short period of time to save server space.
