Which card is used for graphics/gaming?

According to the system hardware, my 15.4" 2018 MacBook Pro has the AMD Radeon Pro 560X 4GB and an Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536MB. What function is the AMD Radeon play and what is the Intel UHD 630 used for?

I am considering getting X-Plane 12 flight simulator and am wondering if my particular MacBook Pro is compatible with this program. According to X-Plane "Note: Intel GPUs are not supported by X-Plane 12". My concern is over that warning.

An explanation and advice would be welcome!

Graphics switching is automatic on your MacBook Pro: Set graphics performance on MacBook Pro - Apple Support.

The integrated Intel GPU is used when the discrete GPU is not needed. It draws less power.

To get a definitive answer, you must positively identify your specific model Mac. In your case you must have either a MacBookPro15,1 or a MacBookPro15,3. To determine, read Identify your MacBook Pro model - Apple Support.
